Discover the Subtle Elegance of Monthélie Wines with Domaine Doreau

If you're looking for a wine experience that's both elegant and subtle, look no further than the Monthélie appellation in Burgundy, France. Monthélie is a small village located in the heart of the Cote de Beaune and is known for producing both red and white wines. And if you're looking for exceptional Monthélie wines, you can't go wrong with Domaine Doreau.

At Domaine Doreau, we've been producing exceptional wines in Monthélie for generations. Our winery is renowned for producing high-quality wines that truly reflect the unique character of the appellation. We produce a range of white and red wines, each with its own distinct flavor profile.

Monthélie produces some of the most elegant and subtle red wines in all of Burgundy, with red wine production accounting for around 80% of the wine produced in the appellation. However, the white wines of Monthélie are equally impressive.

In terms of production, Monthélie is a relatively small appellation, with just over 100 hectares of vineyards. However, the wines produced here are highly sought after, and Domaine Doreau is proud to have a hand in producing some of the finest wines in the region. We produce around 10,000 bottles of wine each year, with a focus on quality over quantity.

When it comes to tasting notes, our white Monthélie is a crisp and refreshing wine with notes of citrus and minerality, while our red Monthélie is a full-bodied wine with flavors of red fruit, spices, and a hint of earthiness. Whether you're a seasoned wine connoisseur or just starting to explore the world of Burgundy wines, give Domaine Doreau's Monthélie wines a try - we guarantee you won't be disappointed!
